Ray has 35 years experience in corporate finance and operations with emerging, mid-market and distressed businesses. His accomplishments range from helping to launch start-up enterprises to successful roles in Turnaround/Distressed engagements.
After rising through the ranks from Controller to CFO, Ray purchased a struggling wood products manufacturer, he doubled revenues, implemented contemporary manufacturing, processes and put the company back on solid financial footing. He then moved into taking on interim CFO/COO assignments. Ray has held a number of positions as an interim executive, across a range of industries.
Ray has substantive business operations, risk management, and team building expertise. He is a hands-on executive, expert in long-term strategic planning as well as operational finance. Ray has extensive experience in cash management and resource allocation in both growth and distressed environments. He is known as a quick study, for the passion he brings to the work, and for getting more done with less.

Interim CFO, Steel Engineering Company
Company was in financial trouble because of its high overhead, operating costs and long cash cycle. Worked with owner to look at how they were managing insurance, payables and occupancy costs. Cut G&A expenses 23%, and began requiring earnest money deposits to mitigate cash cycle problem.
Interim CFO, Telecomm Equipment Company
Led cost reductions and cash management, re-engineered processes inside finance function, reworked terms and agreements with suppliers, negotiated agreements for private label products that gave company current technology to sell with no attendant R&D costs. Positioned company for sale.
