Replacing the incumbent, I took charge of the finance function of the US operations of a UK Corporation engaged in chemical and metal processing. I re-organized, restored credibility in the numbers and the finance function and hired a competent replacement.

CFO, Public company, listed London Exchange, $275m revenue
The incumbent had a heart attack, so straight in to present results to the City, acquired a Finnish Nokia supplier, organized sale of Public Sector Division, reprioritized wireless technology investment program.

CFO, Public company, listed London Exchange, $300m revenue
Replaced CFO on maternity leave, of a global automotive engineering research company. Presentation of results to investors, prepared annual budgets, main board member, negotiated large debt facility (anticipating recession), helped restructure German operations, initiated installation of SAP based ERP

Interim VP Finance, European Logistics, recently taken private, $1bn revenue
Acquired by PE firm, I took charge of the entire European Finance team, changed culture (cash and profit re-orientated), upgraded team, installed effective analysis and reporting, helped restructure, negotiated sale to French company, large return to shareholders shareholders.

Mentor to CEO, European transport company, $150m revenue
Acquired by PE firm, determined why and where it was losing money. Helped Gen Mgr to exit loss makers, negotiate better prices, initiated a major fleet replacement program, relocated HQ to operational center, significant operational savings. Sold at sizeable profit.
