Strategy Execution and Program Management Leader
Led the analysis and restructuring of the central administrative office of a major school system. Developed a new operating model, defined roles and responsibilities and organization structure. Addressed funding and financial aid processes through the design of a new needs-based scholarship program; built a management and tracking process for scholarship administration.
M&A Pre and Post Acquisition Strategy and Execution Leader
Organized and managed two acquisition programs and post-merger integrations for software and hardware data center equipment. Trained local management and led team efforts on due diligence, offer and contract negotiation, pre-close integration planning and post-close integration planning and management. Led corporate efforts to define a new operating model and roles and responsibilities post-acquisition.
VP, Strategy Integration
Managed a two year global restructuring and consolidation program for a $1 billion rotating machinery division, predominately serving the oil and gas industry, for a UK headquartered technology group. Defined the overall program, obtained Board approval, build project plans and program managed the overall $50 million restructuring program.
SVP, Integration Program Management
Defined and led the post-acquisition integration program for a $2.6 billion acquisition of a telecommunications equipment and services company. Company operations spanned 60 countries with over 16,000 employees. Synergy savings of $100 million were targeted and achieved.
Group President
Assumed interim responsibility for managing a $200 million division of a global wireless telecommunications equipment and services provider. Restructured the global operation, grew revenue by 40% and improved operating margins.
