Interim Execs Year in Review
5 Highlights in ’15
RED Team Formation
Many of us are familiar with the famous quote from Margaret Mead, “Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; indeed, it’s the only thing that ever has”. This is what we know about great leadership, and especially about interim executives.
We formed the RED Team, an elite group of career interim executives because we are driven by one mission: to see, to act, to lead for the betterment of the world.
Admission to the Association of Interim Executives is now more selective, and for the rock star executives accepted to the RED Team we act as agent, and come together as an Association, and more actively a guild, where a common goal, language and the benefits of cooperation become powerful.
Connecting Companies and Interims Through the
Rapid Executive Deployment Program
An Interim CEO parachuted into a severely impaired company to immediately determine and implement a survival plan, achieving buy in from the board and management team.
When the long term CFO departed, we supplied a veteran CFO to prepare the company for sale, produce pro formas and budgets, train the finance team and groom the current VP for the CFO role.
A mission-driven organization did not have the right CEO on board and brought in an Interim CEO to develop a long-term plan, stabilizing departments and finances while a permanent search could be completed.
Following two years of losses, the company had ceased manufacturing. A veteran CEO jumped in and restarted operations, hired a CFO, and returned the company to profitability, readying it for sale.
A floundering founder needed help when his application development team fell apart. A CIO was deployed to hire and manage an outsourced tech team charged with on-time, on-budget launch.
When squabbling among member organizations threatened to disrupt a tissue bank vital for patients nationwide, we brought in an interim to create alignment and better structure.
When a team of engineers realized they needed help preparing a business plan and envisioning massive growth over the next 5 years, we called in an industry veteran.
A contractor’s team had lost track of profit by job so we parachuted in a veteran CFO to track accurate cost accounting.
An ambitious plumbing company reached and plateaued at $10M revenue. A veteran CEO stepped in to help the owner implement a plan to double in size.
When a $500M real estate partnership started to quarrel, a veteran HR exec/mediator helped calm troubled waters.
An investor needed help evaluating, negotiating and buying a financial services website. Our expertise and contacts made the purchase and re-launch possible.
A fast growing technology manufacturing company realized they needed a CFO to sharpen their financial abilities and prepare for sale
